Singles & Doubles

When you first start looking for booths, you are likely thinking about booth openings.  However, we think about booths differently, as single booths and double booths.
A single booth is a seating unit (of any length – for any number of people) featuring a seat on one side and a back above it.  Single booths are typically at each end of a row of booth openings.
In contrast, a double booth (or back-to-back booth) consists of one physical unit with a shared back support and two seats, which allows people to sit on each side (at different tables).

Why use a double booth instead of two single booths?
  • Space Efficiency: Double booths usually use less space than (2) single booths, increasing capacity without expanding the floor area.
  • Cost: For most designs, (1) double booth costs less than (2) single booths.
  • Visual Symmetry: Double booths look more intentional, and help create a structured dining layout that feels cohesive.
